Job Description

Position: Project Manager

Qualification:

Must be a Graduate in Engineering in Computer Science or MCA . Post Graduate degree is optional.

Location: Chennai,Gurgaon

Experience: 7 – 11 yrs

Experience

  • Must have been working as a Project Manager (with at least 3 to 4 years of Project Management experience),
  • .Must have at least 7 years experience in software development.
  • Total experience must not exceed 11 Years.
  • Working experience in Telecommunication Domain would be an added advantage..

Mandatory Skills

  • Shall be working as Requirement Handler (RH) for Charging and Mediation Portfolio on Product Customisation.
  • Shall be the interface between Development org and MU on Requirement Handling for Product Customisation for Charging and Mediation
  • Shall have to spend at least 6 months in Sweden ( Karlskrona) on STA ( Short Term Assignment)
  • Shall be operating as RH from India .
  • Must understand and have worked in Software Industry, preferred in Product Development Organisation using SDLC methods and Tools.

Responsibilities.

  • R&D Project Manager leads and defines the day-to-day work in the project and takes full responsibilities for the planning, execution and conclusion of a project assignment.
  • .A project manager would typically interact with resource owner (R&D Line managers), sponsor, steering (reference) group, receiver (takes over the project outcome) and other project managers.
  • The overall responsibility for a Project Manager (PjM) is to deliver a result according to what is committed in the Project Specification.
  • The PM takes responsibilities for agreed planning, execution and conclusion activities of a minor project assignment that are in line with the objectives in the project.
